Graduate of Boston Technical High School. He also took classes at Northeastern University, Boston University and Dartmouth College.
Arthur was Vice President of the Messinger Insurance Company in Everett, for many years. After his retirement he worked for Mahoney’s Garden Center in Winchester.
Family members include his daughters, Jean M. Dooley of Woburn and Carol A. Brogren of Stoneham; grandchildren, Matthew R. Dooley and his fiancé Eliza Massie of Cambridge and Tracy D. Dooley of Woburn.
Burial in Forest Glade Cemetery in Wakefield.
