Omer married 25 Jan 1889 in La Junta, Otero, Colorado, USA Mabel S Bagg (1877 – 1900), dughter of Lucian E. and Genevieve "Jennie" (Miller) Bagg. Omer and Mabel had a daughter Rosabelle Kendall (Mrs. Forest M. Watters) of Cleveland. He married second Kathryn Alice Hutton (1878-1969) on 3 Aug 1902 in Winslow, Navajo, Arizona. With Katie he had two children Omer Robert Kendall (1914 – 1923) and Dorothy Jane Kendall (1920 – 1923). Omer, Omer Robert, and Dorothy died in the same car accident.
