World War II∼He was the son of the late Edward C. and Dora(Emmert)Thompson and the husband of Dimple(Savage)Tompson,who survives.He was a retired teacher,having taught in Monroe Coounty school system,and was a veteran of WW2 and a member of the Masonic Lodge number 735.He is survived by one son, John,Tompkinsville,four daughters, Sue Ann Allen,White House,Tn.,Jane Smalling,Byrdstown,Tn.,Dr Jean Donaldson,Celina,Tn.,and Elizabeth Thompson,Tompkinsville.
