This grave is unmarked. The town of Leeds has no record of Howard's burial location, and neither was his grave noted on any transcription of this cemetery. However a January 9, 1923 article in the Lewiston Evening Journal about Howard's son Lewis, indicated that Howard and his wife Caroline were buried in the cemetery located just to the west of their farm, which is this cemetery. In addition Caroline's death record says she was buried in this cemetery.
