Leonard Marion Hight was welcomed into the hands of God on February 11, 2015.

Leonard was born on January 3, 1929 in London, Texas to John Oliver and Linnie Hight. He grew up in the London community.

On November 8, 1947 Leonard married Alene Molly Meyer.

He worked in the food service and supply business for approximately 30 years and then ranched for the last 30 years in London, Texas.

He served as a deacon for the London Baptist Church.

He enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, traveling and playing forty-two with family and friends.

Leonard is survived by his wife of 68 years Alene Hight, two sons; John Hight and wife Ollie of London, Texas and Jackie Hight and wife Judy of Eden, Texas; one grandson Callen Hight, three granddaughters, Shaumarie Scoggins, Tamara Letcher, and Laurie Hennig; eight great grandsons and two great granddaughters.

Funeral services will be held on February 15, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at London Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Little Saline Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be nephew Cody Cain, great granddaughter Paige Letcher, and great grandsons, Jake Letcher, Bradley Hight, Brayden Hight, and Blake Schwake. Honorary pallbearers will be Charles "Pete" Williamson, Travis Ripple and J.D. Martin.
