Wilson Hillhouse was born in Kentucky on March 22, 1803 and died December 27, 1855. He was on his way home after driving hogs to St. Louis to sell. He must have been close to his home when he died.

Wilson Hillhouse married Nancy Montgomery about 1824 in Tennessee. Nancy was born January 13, 1806 in North Carolina, probably Buncombe County. She died of a young age on March 10, 1845 and is buried at the same place as Wilson.

Wilson Hillhouse stood bond for marriage of James Robertson to Amy Tracy in 1826 in Lawrence County, TN. Lived in Crawford Co. in 1830, Pulaski Co. in 1840, Wright Co. MO in 1850. First entered Wright county in 1837. Wilson was Associate County Judge August 7, 1848, County Judge December 1848 & 1850, Probate Court Judge 1854.

Wilson and Nancy had six children:
Mary, born about 1825 in Tennessee,
Sarah, b. March 10, 1332 in Missouri,
John, b. January 29, 1835 in Missouri,
Newton, b. October 9, 1838 in Missouri,
Andrew, b. February 27, 1841 in Missouri,
Frances Jane, b. December 11, 1843 in Missouri.

After Nancy died, Wilson married 2nd, Mary Ann (Moore) Bohannon about 1849. They had one child:
Martha Ann, b. February 28, 1851.
