John H. Adair age 82, of Riverview, formerly of Carleton, passed away on Sunday, February 15, 2015 at Oakwood Southshore Medical Center in Trenton, Michigan.
Friends may visit in the Arthur Bobcean Funeral Home, Carleton Chapel on Tuesday, February 17, 2015 from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held in the Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at 11:00 am. Burial will be in Michigan Memorial Park, Huron Township, Michigan.
Born on January 28, 1933 in Carleton, Michigan, he was the son of John and Bernice (Manor) Adair.
He was an Electrician for Firestone Steel in Wyandotte, MI for 26 years until retiring in 1982.
John served in the U.S Navy during the Korean War. He was a member of the Carleton VFW Post 4093 and American Legion 389. He enjoyed golfing, horse racing and going to the movies.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Gary Adair and a sister, Jacqueline Adair.
Surviving are brothers, David (Fern) Adair of Novi and Gregory Adair of Monroe; sister, Vicki (Jim) Peters of Ash Grove, MO; sister-in-law, Norma Adair of Carleton; many nieces and nephews.
