Adeline H. Wingard, 92, Michigan City, IN, passed away Thursday, February 12, 2015 at 3:20 am in Hospice Franciscan Communities.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Monday, February 16, 2015 at St. Luke United Lutheran Church, 2000 E. Coolspring Ave., Michigan City, IN with Rev. Thelma Megill-Cobbler officiating. Private entombment will take place in Swan Lake Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 2:00 pm -6:00 pm, Sunday in the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, IN and from 10:00 am until time service Monday at St. Luke United Lutheran Church. The Women of the Moose #935 will conduct a memorial service at 3:00 pm Sunday in the chapel.

She was born August 5, 1922 in Michigan City, Indiana to the late Rudolph and Helen(Wozniak) Deutscher. On September 6, 1942 in Napoleon, Ohio she married Carl H. Wingard who preceded her on April 15, 2012.

Surviving are a daughter, Sharon Klosinski of Westville, IN; two grandsons, Michael (Sarah) Klosinski and Matthew Klosinski, both of Westville, IN; four great-grandchildren, Ryan (Brittany) Rotzien, Amie (Steve Termini) Rotzien and Chase Klosinski, all of Westville, IN and Katelyn Klosinski of Chesterton, IN; sister, Anita McKee of Michigan City, IN; brother, Richard Deutscher of Raleigh, NC; and, many nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by her two brothers, Walter and Daniel Deutscher.

Adeline retired after 24 years as an office clerk for M. A. Christiansen Co. and also had worked as a office clerk at the Moose Family Center #980 and was a waitress at the V.F.W. #2536. She was a member of St. Luke United Lutheran Church, Women of the Moose #935, VFW #2536 Ladies Auxiliary and volunteered at the Michigan City Senior Center.
