MRS. A. N. Lilly

Hattie Edith Dunn, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Dunn, was born March 7, 1877, near Auburn City, Neb., departed this life at a Lincoln hospital on Aug. 14, 1925, aged 48 years, 5 months and 7 days. In 1894 she came to Holmesville, Nebr., with her parents, brothers and sisters, here she grew to womanhood. On Aug. 21, 1896. She was united in marriage to A. N. Lilly and to this union was born five children, four boys and one girl. They are Albert, Roy, Teddie, Ina and Harry Lilly. Roy died at the age of 5 years, and Harry died at the age of 15 years. The rest of the children are living. They reside at Oregon City, Oregon. Besides her living children she leaves to mourn her going her aged father, J. H. Dunn, of Oregon City, Oregon, one sister, Mrs. Nettie Hadley, Beatrice, Nebr., and five brothers, Irvy Dunn, of Byers, Co., P. P. Dunn of Stamford, Nebr., W. C. Dunn of Holmesville, Nebr., Elmer Dunn of Oregon City, Oregon, and Tom Dunn, Beatrice, Nebr., Shortly after her marriage she united with the church of the Brethren, to which she was a faithful member. Her residence here in this part of Nebraska won her a host of friends who today are bowing their heads in sorrow and sympathy with the bereaved family.
