IRVONA - Mrs. Anna Lenhart died at her home here Saturday afternoon. She was 79.

Mrs. Lenhart leaves these children: Mrs. Mary Brink, Leonardstown, Md.; Mrs. Catherine Samosky, Coalport; John, Force; Vincent, Tyler and Lawrence at home. Her husband, John Lenhart, and two sons, Harry and Blair, preceded her in death. Thirteen grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and one sister, Mrs. F. A. Wyble of Pittsburgh, also survive.

Funeral services will be held from St. Basil's Church, Blain City, Tuesday at 9 a.m. in charge of Father Joseph Seyboldt of Houtzdale. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call at the Hunter Funeral Home tonight and until time of services.


According to her death certificate, Anna suffered a sudden heart attack while working in her vegetable garden. She had lived on Brickyard Ave in Irvona for the last 35 years.
Her father's name was Bernard Blumer. Mother's name unknown.

According to her marriage license application her maiden name is Blumer and her parents are Wendlin & Barbara Blumer.
