ImeldaR udex, 76, of 321 W. Division St., died Tuesday, April 22, 1997, at St. Agnes Hospital following a lengthy illness. She was born Oct. 4, 1920 in Mount Calvary, a daughter of John and Catharina Freund Gundert. On Nov. 7, 1939, she married Clarence F. Gudex at Holy Cross Church in Mount Calvary. She was a member of Presentation Church in North Fond du Lac. She was employed by Wells Manufacturing for 14-1/2 years, retiring due to ill health. . Survivors include her husband; two sons, Duane Gudex and his wife Diana of Greenbush, and Clarence "Butch" Gudex, Jr. of Fond, du Lac; three daughters, Judy Buelow of North Fond du Lac, Linda Kind and her husband Paul, and Nancy Guell and her husband Jack, all of Fond du Lac; 12 grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; one brother, Ralph Gundert and his wife Marcelene of Fond du Lac; and one sister, Elsie Birschbach and her husband Herman of Fond du Lac. She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Dorothy Gudex, on Sept. 29, 1946; a grandson, Troy Albert; and two sisters, Loretta Weber and Edna Gundert. Visitation: Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home where a parish vigil will be held at 8 p.m. Services: Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday from the funeral home and 10 a.m. from Presentation Church. The Rev. John O'Brien will officiate. Burial will be in Estabrooks Cemetery.
