Wilma (Shelton, Allen) Gibbs, 79, of Ventura, passed away at Community Memorial Hospital. Wilma was born in Iowa, moved to Oxnard, and graduating from Oxnard High School in 1937, Wilma raised her family in Ventura and worked for Pacific Bell, retiring in 1983. She has enjoyed her network of friends and family for 50 plus years. Wilma will be deeply missed by her family and many friends. She is survived by her husband, Robert Gibbs; sisters Dorothy Lewis of Ventura and Mabel Demuth of Oxnard; brothers Carl Shelton of South Carolina and Woody Shelton of Washington; son...; daughters...; nine grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held in Wilma's honor at 11 a.m. Monday, March 5, 2001 at Eastminster Presbyterian Church, 8180 Telephone Rd., Ventura....
