Abigail “Abbie” Rae Gokey was stillborn on Thursday, February 12, 2015 at Covenant Harrison Hospital in Saginaw.

She is survived by her parents, Andrew P. and Rebecca J. (Dubs) Gokey of Unionville; brother, Noah Wesley Gokey; maternal grandparents, Steve and Kathy Dubs of Pigeon; paternal grandparents, Raymond and Kimberly Gokey of Unionville; maternal great-grandmother, Shirley Dubs of Bay Port; and paternal great-grandparents, Pete and Aggie Gokey of Unionville and Wilber and Charlotte Funk of Hillman. She is also survived by her aunts and uncles, Kristin and Josh Sherman of Caro, Nate and Lindsay Gokey of Davison, and Austin Gokey of Unionville; cousins, Massey Sherman and Jack and Oliver Gokey; and great aunts and great uncles. She was preceded in death by great-grandparents.

A Memorial Service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 19, 2015 at the Wisner United Methodist Church, Akron, with Pastor Jackie Raineri officiating. Visitation at the church will begin at 5:00 p.m.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Trisomy 18 Foundation or the Saginaw Covenant Birth Center Bereavement Program.
