Mollie Samples age 95, widow of John G. Samples, passed away Saturday, February 14, 2015 at Georgetown Community Hospital. She was born August 3, 1919 in Clay County Kentucky to the late Augustus and Pruda Hacker Brumley. She was a member of the Pentecostal Church.
Mollie is survived by her sons, John E. Samples of Berea, Kentucky, Owen Samples of Stamping Ground, Kentucky, Augustus Samples of Sadieville, Kentucky; daughters, Lillie Hensley of Manchester, Kentucky, Betty Burgess, of Georgetown, Kentucky, Parthene Hughes of Georgetown, Kentucky, Wilma Scott of Stamping Ground, Kentucky, Bert Parsons of Georgetown, Kentucky, Patsy Worley of Stamping Ground, Kentucky, Dixie West of Georgetown, Kentucky and Wanda Perdue of Georgetown, Kentucky. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Joe Brumley.
Visitation will be Monday, February 16, 2015 from 5 to 8 at Tucker, Yocum & Wilson Funeral Home with a graveside service on Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at 11am at Camp Nelson National Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Brady Grose, Ernest Collins, Jay Samples, Shawn Curry, Justin Hughes, Anthony Scott, David Aliff and Brian Williams.
