MILLEDGEVILLE --- Services for Herman Taylor Sr. will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Baldwin Memorial Gardens. Taylor, 79, died Monday, Aug. 21, 2000, at his residence. He was born in Baldwin County, son of the late Herman Harper and Lillie Pierce Johnson Taylor. An Army veteran of World War II, he was a retired electrician. The widower of Margaret Taylor, he was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Survivors include his children Herman Taylor Jr., Randy Taylor and Geoffrey Taylor, all of Milledgeville; sister and brother, Nina Grimes of Salt Lake City, Utah, and Robert A. Taylor of Maryville, Tenn.; and a grandson.
