Services for Margaret Schroeter, 86, of Hereford, who died Tuesday at High Plains Baptist Hospital, will be held at 3 p.m. Friday in First Baptist Church.
Doug Manning of Fellowship of Believers will officiate. Burial will be in West Park Cemetery, by Gililland-Watson Funeral Home.
Mrs. Schroeter was a native and lifelong resident of Hereford She was president of A.O. Thompson Abstract Company and active in a number of organizations. She was a member of First Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, A.J. "Major" Schroeter.
Survivors are three sons, Alex Schroeter of Hereford, Paul Schroeter of Lubbock and Ed Schroeter of Amarillo; a sister, Ruby Carmichael of Hereford, 13 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
The family has requested that memorials be directed to First Baptist Church.
