DIED- On Friday, August 4, Mrs. James Gist, at the residence of her husband on Wild Cat. Mrs. Gist was a victim of that dread disease consumption, and her death was not unexpected. She had long since known that her days were few, and she was prepared to go. Mrs. Gist was a daughter of Mrs. Coleman who lives on Turkey Creek. The bereaved husband and family have the sympathy of all in this hour of their trouble. Services were held at the house and the body interred in the family cemetery.
