PEORIA - Winifred Leona Wenzel, 96, of Buehler Home died at 11:25 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 7, 2002, at her residence.
Born Oct. 24, 1905, in Canton to James A. and Emma N. Beaird Boughan, she married Charles A. Wenzel on June 30, 1923, in Lewistown. He died Aug. 6, 1990, in Peoria.
She also was preceded in death by two brothers.
Surviving are one son, Kenneth (and Emogene) of Peoria; one daughter, Betty (and Bernard) Williamson of Prescott, Ariz.; two grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
She and her husband farmed for 42 years before retiring in 1967.
She was a member of Tower Park Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.
Burial will be in Swan Lake Memory Gardens.
Memorials may be made to her congregation.
