Pigg Born May 23, 1840 Died July 28, 1862 In Defence of his Country. Per the 1850 census his parents were Reynard A. & Frances (Simms) Pigg and his siblings were James, Mary (Pigg), Ann E. (Pigg), John, Stephen, Celia J. (Pigg), Harriett (Pigg).

Fought for the Confederate side and died in the Civil War Battle at Moore's Mill (Calwood), MO.
