BARBARA E. ALFSON

Barbara E. Alfson, age 69, of 3519 W. Marshall St., Manitowoc, died on Monday evening, July 23, 2007, at Aurora Medical Center of Manitowoc County.
Barbara was born on April 3, 1938, in Michigan, daughter of the late Al and Lorayne Bushey Gallenberger. She was a 1956 graduate of Lincoln High School in Manitowoc. She married Lawrence Alfson on May 1, 1958, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, in Manitowoc. He preceded her in death on Mar. 20, 1989. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish.
Barbara enjoyed arts and crafts and running bingo for St. Mary's Catholic Church on Wednesday nights.

She was preceded in death by one brother-in-law: Keith Vogel.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, July 27, 2007, at St. Francis of Assisi-Marshall Street Site. The Rev. Monsignor Jim Vanden Hogen will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial, with internment of her cremated remains at Calvary Mausoleum. Relatives and friends may call at the church at the time of services.
The Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home of Manitowoc is serving the Alfson family.
