After returning from the war, he married the love of his life, Dorothy Connell Belk. They shared 57 years of marriage before he lost her to cancer. Mr. Belk was a carpenter by trade and also worked at the original Penguin Drive-In in the 60's and 70's. Sid also enjoyed chickens for the biggest part of his life. He made many friends and memories raising his roosters. He was never seen without a smile on his face and his twinkling blue eyes. Sid was a loving father to his four children. Many great and funny memories were made over the years for us to cherish. Sidney was predeceased by his wife, Dorothy Connell Belk, and grandsons, Sgt. Joshua Blaney and Patrick LeGrand.
