The Aged Widow of Prof R C Clarkson Expires Early This Morning
This morning at 1:30 o'clock, Mrs Mary C Clarkson, the widow of the late Prof. R C Clarkson, of this city, died of the grip at her home on Senate Street, after an illness of a fortnight. The deceased was a daughter of the late William Mayrant, of Georgetown, and was related to the Mayrants of this place. She was sixty-one years of age, and her husband had preceded her to the better land only a short time.
She leaves two sons to mourn her loss, Prof S M Clarkson and Mr R H Clarkson.
The funeral services will be held at Trinity church this afternoon at 4 o'clock.
