Elnora L. Alexander, 79 of Canton, Missouri died Monday, February 9, 2015 at 10:16 PM at Blessing Hospital, Quincy, Illinois.
The daughter of Elmer and Edna (Brocksmith) Still was born on October 15, 1935 at Pittsfield, Illinois.
She was united in marriage to Garey P. Alexander on April 22, 1975 at Quincy, Illinois. He preceded her in death on May 28, 2013.
Elnora was a member of Living Water Full Gospel Fellowship Church in Quincy, Illinois. She was a foster parent and grandparent for many years. She liked quilting, sewing, fishing and camping.
She is survived by six children, Christine Bronstine & husband Rickey of Hull, Il., Carrie Motley of Canton, Mo., Catrice James of Illinois, William Barrington of Canton, Mo., Jeff Alexander of Ogden, Utah and Scott Alexander of Mt. Sterling, Il.; 20 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; a sister, Lenora Hood of Lewistown, Mo and two nieces.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter, Beth Ingram and a great-grandson.
Funeral services will be held Friday, February 13, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Arnold’s Funeral Home in Canton, Missouri with Rev. Brian Stone officiating. Burial will be in Quincy Memorial Park Cemetery at Quincy, Illinois.
Visitation will be held Thursday evening from 5 until 7 PM at Arnold’s Funeral Home in Canton.
Memorials may be made to the Parkinson’s Disease Foundation.
