Mrs. Joanna Hamlet, 64 years old, wife of Henry Hamlet, died yesterday evening at 7:15 o'clock at her home on Jackson street. Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 4:30 o'clock at the residence, conducted by Rev. George Murphy. Burial in Garland Brook cemetery.


Mrs. Hamlet is survived by her husband, three daughters, Mrs. Ida Rothrock, Mrs. Emma Snyder, Mrs. Bessie Henderson, and three sons, William, Clarence and Harry, all of this city, one grandson, Glenn Thomas, whom she reared, two sisters, Mrs. Ida Scheitman, of Newcastle, and Mrs. Carrie Wilbur of this city, a brother, George Wentworth of Hartford City, and her mother, Mrs. Amanda Wentworth.


Mrs. Hamlet had resided in Columbus for many years and was a very well known and highly respected woman. She was a member of the Methodist church.
