Geraldine "GiGi" Quinn, loving mother and grandmother, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, February 9, 2015.
GiGi was born on February 20, 1931 in Eastman, Georgia to the late James Conner and Lee Annie Graham Rawlins. She retired from Civil Service at Robins Air Force Base. GiGi will be remembered as a kind, gentle person who appreciated the simple things in life; loved by all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Carey W. Quinn; daughter, Elana Wilbanks; sister, Alma Pearl Cohen; and brother, Carl Swinson.
GiGi's memory will forever be treasured by her adoring children, Susan Danner (Charlie) and Kevin Horne (JoLee); grandchildren, Angela Beth King, Olivia Russell, Steven Johns (Jamelie), Chad Danner, Bradley Horne (Lisa), Jeremy Horne and Bethany Horne; great-grandchildren, Conner Williams, Logan Russell, Kyndall and Natalie Horne; and many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Wednesday, February 11, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 12, 2015 at Antioch Baptist Church in Dubois, Georgia with interment following in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery. Reverend David Miller will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests donations be given in memory of Geraldine "GiGi" Quinn to Heart of Georgia Inpatient Hospice, 1120 Morningside Drive, Perry, GA 31069.
