The funeral of Milton A. Goodson, who died suddenly, at noon Friday, was held at the residence on North Cumberland street Sunday afternoon at two o'clock. Interment was in the Jarnagin cemetery.
The deceased was sixty-five years old, a member of the First Baptist Church, a Confederate veteran, and was prominent in local business circles. He is survived by the widow and four daughters, Mrs. E. E. Pless, Mrs. J. L. Drinnon, Mrs. R. M. Carmichael, and Mrs. W. A. Grigsby, who have the heartfelt sympathy of a wide circle of friends and acquaintances."
