OBITUARY.
James L. Abel
James Luther Abel, one of the oldest residents of this section, died last evening at 10 o'clock a t Saratoga Lake, where he was born on October 12, I8I5. Deceased had always lived at Saratoga Lake, where he pursued the life of a farmer. He was a widower and Is survived by two sons, George E. Abel and David L. Abel of Saratoga Lake; and three daughters, Mrs. M. Hegeman of Gloversvllie, Mrs. James H. Riley and Mrs. El J, Seibert of Saratoga Lake. The funeral services, which will be private, will be held at the old Abel homestead on Saturday morning at 10 o'clock and the Rev. William Durant, D. D., pastor of the First Presbyterian church, will officiate.
