Death of Mr. A.A. Duly

The staff of the United States national museum has sustained a serious loss in the death of Mr. A.A. Duly, chief engineer from the foundation of the establishment. He was also a member of the city board to examine engineers of stationary engines and founder of the Smithsonian relief association, an organization to benefit the employees of that body in case of death.
Mr. Duly was greatly respected by all his associates in the museum and it will be difficult to fill the vacancy occasioned by his death. The executive board of the relief association at a called meeting passed resolutions of respect and regret
