Wanda Jo Cawthon, 78, of Hankamer, passed away on Saturday, February 7, 2015 at her home. She was a born November 11, 1936 in Abernathy, Texas to Everett and Mary Corley. She was preceded in death by her parents. Wanda was a member of Old River Baptist Church.
Wanda is survived by her husband of 58 yerars, Robert Allen Cawthon; daughter: Becky Sherman and husband Bubba; grandchildren: Bruce David Sherman and wife Kelle; Jennifer Elizabeth Sherman, Brittany Susanne Sherman and one great grandson Wyatt David Sherman.
A visitation with the family will be on Monday, February 9, 2015 from 5:00pm until 7:00pm in the Chapel of Sterling Funeral Home, 1201 S. Main St., Anahuac.
Funeral services will be at 10:00am on Tuesday, February 10, 2015 in the Chapel of Sterling Funeral Home, with Rev. Danny Biddy officiating.
Interment will follow in Anahuac Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Bill Davis, Josh Goodson, Glen Phillips, Bruce Sherman, Melvin Williams and Chipper Sherman.
