OBITUARY - 02/09/2015 - U.S. Veteran - BOONE, Charles Davis, 76, passed away Monday, February 9, 2015 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was retired from McKee Foods, a Navy veteran and a member of St. Athanasius Catholic Church. A loving husband, father and grandfather, he was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley, in May of last year. He is survived by his daughter, Debbie Stemmle (Danny); grandchildren, Katie Flahiff (Billy) and Nicholas Stemmle; brothers, Harold, Marvin, Stephen and Nicholas Boone; sisters,Shirley Boone, Jeanette Quigley, Rose Goodin and Cecilia Boone; and his pet cat, Tom. His funeral is 10am Wednesday at St. Athanasius Catholic Church,5915 Outer Loop with burial in Bardstown Cemetery. Visitation is 11am - 8pm Tuesday. The family wants to thank the good people at the VA Hospital and Hosparus for all their wonderful help.
