Mr. Belaire loved spending time with his family in the country, most especially his grandchildren. He loved the holidays, especially Christmas and Easter – treasuring moments of the yearly tradition of “pacquing” eggs.
As a pastime, he enjoyed gardening, fishing, picking pecans on his property, and watching t.v. with his dog, Blackey. LeeRoy often enjoyed drinking coffee at Picard’s Auto Parts with his friends.
He is survived by two daughters, Eunice Frederick and husband, Troy, and Christyal "Peanut" Chiasson and husband, Dane; two sons, Kenneth Belaire and wife, Susan, and Patrick Belaire and wife, Janice; his brother, Wallace Belaire and wife, Charlotte; three sisters, Anna Mae Hart, Agathe Rieth, and Mary Ann Crochet; six grandchildren, Danielle Harrison and husband, Adam, Sr., Jordy Belaire and wife, Katie, Jamie Belaire and wife, Sabrina, Kayla Frederick and companion, Chance Thibodeaux, Garrett Chiasson, and Victoria Frederick; and one great grandchild, Adam Harrison, Jr.
