Mary Duran, 57, of Guthrie, OK, passed away February 5, 2015 in Guthrie. She was born June 2, 1957 in Wellington, KS, to Leslie and Lucille (Madison) Tannahill.

Mary was a laundry aide for 14 years. She loved cats. Mary also loved her family and especially her daughter, Tabby. Mary’s greatest achievement was when Tabby received her high school diploma.

Mary’s eyes and smile were her greatest qualities. She made everyone laugh. Mary was a very loving woman who saw beauty in everything and looked at the world with a kind heart. She loved to be outside. Mary also traveled all across the country and had a bell collection to show for it.

Mary is survived by her daughter; 3 sisters; and 1 brother. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and many friends that she loved dearly. She meant the world to her daughter, who loved her more than anything. She will be missed dearly by all whose lives she touched.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, February 9, 2015 at Smith Memorial Chapel with Chaplain Gene Owen officiating with a cremation to follow.
