Interment was in the Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Mr. Howell died Sunday, July 22, 1945 at his home on South Converse Street, Spartanburg, SC. Mr. Howell was the owner and operator of Howell's Grocery on St. John Street. Pallbearers were, Archie Cole, Jack Parsons, G. W. Nodine, Marchie Bull, M.B. Hughes, W. D. Hall, C. D. Pettit and Dr. J. B. Brannon. He was 56 years of age at hois demise.
