Margaret Custer of New Paris RD died July 3, 1954, at her home. Born February 19, 1884, in Napier Township, she was the daughter of Joseph and Mary Herline Custer. Survived by these brothers and sisters: Harry, Bedford; Norman, Johnstown; Clinton, Harrisburg; Mrs. Ada Shaffer, Johnstown; and Bertha Custer, Blairsville; one half-sister, Mrs. Blanche Free, New Carlisle, Ohio. A half-brother preceded her in death. She was a member of the E. U. B. church of New Paris. Services: Tuesday, July 6 at Mickle Funeral Home, the Rev. A. F. Thomas officiating. Burial in Schellsburg cemetery.
