Gallagher, Sister Margaret Patrick, SCN,95, a native of Bridgeport, OH, died at Nazareth Home, Louisville on Saturday, February 7, 2015.She had been a Sister of Charity of Nazareth for 76 years. Sister served in elementary education as teacher in Kentucky, Tennessee and Ohio for 26 years. In later years Sister served as Food Service Supervisor in Kentucky and Massachusetts for 22 years. In Louisville Sister served as teacher of Grades 4-5 at St. Philip Neri School from 1943-45 and at St. Augustine School from 1954-56. Sister served in Community Service, Food Purchasing and Transportation at Morrison Hall from 1988-94. In retirement Sister served in the Apostolate of Prayer at Maria Hall and Nazareth Home from 2003 till her death. Survivors include nieces, nephews and her religious community. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, February 11, 2015 in St. Vincent Church, Nazareth, KY at 10:30 a.m., followed by burial in Nazareth Cemetery. Visitation will be 1:30-2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at Nazareth Home and after 4 p.m. in St. Vincent Church, Nazareth, Ky. There will be a Prayer Service in St. Vincent Church at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday. Funeral Arrangements are being handled by Ratterman Funeral Home, 3800 Bardstown Road, Louisville, KY.
