Lavon Helen Squier, 95, passed away on Friday, December 18, 2020 at Glenbrook Nursing Center, Fort Wayne.

Born Jefferson Twp, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Bernadette (Gerardot) Huguenard. Lavon was one of 17 children. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, New Haven, and the rosary sodality. She had worked at United Products, ITT, and retired in 1982 from Tokheim Corp. She was also a member of Howard Bandelier VFW Post 2457, American Legion #47, and was an officer of the Eagles Auxiliary.

She is survived by her children, Margie (Don) Murrow, Rita (Dan) Puckett, Linda (Steve) Herrberg, Gloria Ford, John (Trish) Savieo, Mary Lou Aquirre, and Nancy (Jim) Marshall; 10 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Squier; granddaughter, Bridget Puckett. Mass of Christian Burial is 10 a.m. Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 943 Power St, New Haven with visitation half hour prior. Visitation is also from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at Harper’s Community Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven with a prayer vigil at 6:30 p.m. Burial in St. Louis Besancon Catholic Cemetery. Preferred memorials are to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church or Masses.
