Irene was devoted to her parents and assisted and cared for them until their passing. She then moved to Independence, MO where she was a caregiver for many ladies, working in their homes and was a companion to many.
Many years ago, she had professed her faith which sustained her throughout her life.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Guy, Raleigh and Willis Neas and four sisters, Helen Carroll, Beulah Moor, Wilma Moor and Vivian Short.
She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Irene Neas will be at 2:00 P.M., Monday, February 9, 2015, at the Davis-Miller Funeral Home, Lincoln, MO. No visitation. Friends may call after 9:00 AM, Monday until the funeral hour. Burial will be in the Lincoln Cemetery, Lincoln, MO.
Memorials may be made to the Baptist Ridge Camp or the Benton County Cancer Fund, in care of the Davis-Miller Funeral Home, Lincoln, MO.
