William Berry (Billy) Autry. 83, of Plainville passed away Thursday afternoon, February 5, 2015.

A native of Floyd County, Mr. Autry was born July 13, 1931 son of the late Clyde L. Autry and Fannie Scott Autry. He was a resident of Gordon County most of his life and was a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church of Plainville, and the Plainville Masonic Lodge. Prior to retirement, Mr. Autry was employed by Klopman Mills. Mr. Autry was preceded in death by his wife Bonita Autry on September 13, 2013.

Survivors include his son, Kerry Autry of Rome; daughters Looral (Richard) Peacock and Patricia (Larry) Nale. Grandchildren Anita York and Toby Nale; Great grandchildren Demetri York and Alaska York.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 PM Sunday in the Chapel of Parnick Jennings Sr.’s Good Shepherd Funeral Home, 2750 Shorter Avenue with Reverends David Ray, Davis Rogers, and Cary Hall officiating. Interment will follow in Scott Cemetery in Plainville.
