He was born on July 15, 1934, in Urbana, Mo. to Alma Glen and G. Jewell Barclay Elliott, who preceded him in death. He also was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Charles Martin; three brothers, Vernie, Vernon, and Glen Elliott; two sisters, Joann Farris, and Shirley Elliott, also a brother-in-law, Dennis Sallee.
He worked in construction. He also was an electrician. His passion was working with timber.
Survivors include a son, Terry Elliott and his wife, Karen, of Lebanon; three daughters, Robin Beard and her husband, Charles, of Lebanon; Brenda Martin, of Competition, and Penny Doan and her husband, Don, of Rolla; his loving companion of 25 years, Betty Eidson and her children, Carla Day, and Don Eidson and his wife, Vicki, all of Lebanon; Lisa Rabe and her husband, Scott, of Eldridge; three sisters, Joyce Swanigan and her husband, Cecil, of Plad; Lois Starnes and her husband, Arlo and Linda Sallee, all of Kansas City; a brother, Roua Elliott and his wife, Kathy, of Lebanon; 21 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Naomi Elliott, of Elkland, and Emma Elliott, of Eldorado, Kan.; a brother-in-law, Kenny Farris, of Kansas City; other relatives and many friends.
A Celebration of Life Visitation for Bob Elliott will be held from 4-6 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 8, 2015, at the T.J. and DeLores Shadel Family Center at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel.
Memorials have been suggested to Relay For Life or Louisburg Cemetery, and donations can be left or mailed to Shadel’s Colonial Chapel.
As per his request, his body will be cremated under the direction of Shadel's Colonial Chapel
