Mrs. Higgason died Friday in Macon. She was a housewife and the daughter of the late Thomas J. Pearson and Francis Dempsey Pearson. She was married to the late Dent Higgason. Her church affiliation was White Hall Methodist Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Bess Prisock of Star City and Mrs. M. U. Scott of Macon; five sons, Jim Higgason, Ruben Higgason and Kirby Higgason all of Louisville, Richard Higgason of Laurel and Arnie Higgason of Kentucky; two sisters, Mrs. John Dempsey of Jackson and Mrs. George Dempsey of McCool; and 22 grandchildren.
