Eleanor C. Bandos - Schenectady

Eleanor C. Bandos (nee Civitello) went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 11, 2012.
She was born on March 7, 1934 to Joseph and Felicia (Monaco) Civitello in Schenectady, NY. For 35 years she was a dedicated worker to NYS Tax and Finance and then retired to spend time with her husband.
Eleanor is survived by her devoted husband of 57 years, Stanley Bandos ; her loving daughter; her granddaughter; and her sister, Mary DeMatteo. Eleanor is also survived by her sister-in-law, Helen Civitello; her brother-in-law, Fred Marcantonio; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Eleanor was predeceased by her brothers and sisters, Frank Civitello, Catherine Civitello, Helen (Edward) Smyth, Genevieve (Philip) Bianco, Elvira Marcantonio and Sylvester "Danny" (Doris) Civitello. Eleanor was also predeceased by her brother-in-law, Raymond DeMatteo.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 1255 Pleasant St., Schenectady, NY 12303. Burial will follow at St. John's Cemetery.
