Richard Fischer, 77 of Eden Prairie, Minn., died Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2012, at The Lighthouse in Waconia. The funeral will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Johnson Funeral Home in Waconia, Minn. Interment will be in Wolsey Cemetery, Wolsey, SD. Richard Dale Fischer was born Sept. 18, 1934, in Wessington to Frank and Emma (Freese) Fischer. He was married Carolyn Heitland and Arvilla Porter. He is survived by three sons, Jim (Joy) of Duluth, Minn., Rick (Robin) of Eden Prairie, and Chris (Judy) of Waconia; six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; a brother, Francis; and a sister, Velda.
