"Clara" was the daugter of John Lafayette and Frances Elizabeth Means McMahan.

She married Albert Pike Coyle on September 11, 1880. She and Albert had eight children. Albert passed in 1897 and Clara was left to raise their children.

James A. Williams moves in to help Clara run the household. James & Clara married May 6, 1902 at the Banks Hotel in Ardmore, Oklahoma. In 1903 a little girl, Myrtle was born, but only lived six months. They also had a daughter named Jewel that lived to adulthood

Clara passed in 1909 and James goes on to live until 1935
