Dockie Earnest, 75, of Brinson, GA, passed away Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at his residence.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 12, 2014 at Calvary Assembly of God Church with Rev. Tony Kent and Rev. James Scarborough officiating. Interment will be at Calvary Assembly of God Church Cemetery with Danny Earnest, DeWayne Earnest, Larry Earnest, Jimmy Miller, Perry Miller, Jay King, and Joe Earnest serving as active pallbearers.

Mr. Earnest was born April 21, 1939 in Donalsonville, GA, the son of John Bowen Earnest and Inez Merkison Earnest. He was a sales clerk with Bainbridge Hardware for over 25 years. Dockie was a faithful member of Calvary Assembly of God where he served as a Deacon, on the cemetery committee, and as a Royal Ranger Leader.
