Mr. Harrison was born in Gulfport, MS and graduated from Gulfport High School. He was employed with the Stone County Road Department. He was married to the love his life, Penny for 13 years. He was a loving daddy to 7 children and 6 grandchildren. He lived a Godly life and was a Christian example and witness to everyone by the way he lived his life. He loved to sing Southern Gospel music and often shared this God given talent with his church family. He was truly loved by so many members of his church family and they showed that love by hosting several benefits during his battle with cancer.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charlie David Harrison, Jr.
Survivors include his wife, Penny Harrison of McHenry, MS; his mother, Louise Harrison of Gulfport, MS; seven children; Matthew (Kyzmi) Harrison, Samantha Duncan, Summer (Ramsey) Sellers, Sarah Harrison, Austin Duncan, Zachary Harrison, and Lauren Harrison (all of MS); three sisters, Belinda (Danny) Wilkerson of Biloxi; Kimberly Stahl of Austin, TX; Ginger (Kenny) Lehman of Mobile, AL; 6 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 6, 2015 from 9-11am at Biloxi Creek Baptist Church in Perkinston, MS with a Celebration of Life Service at 11am. The burial will follow at Biloxi Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
