Mr. Zera Elden "Zeke" Gibbs, 51, of Jane, Missouri, departed this life suddenly on Wednesday, February 4, 2015, in Washington County, Arkansas, after suffering an apparent heart attack.

Zeke entered this life on March 13, 1963, in Rogers, Arkansas, one of four children born to Bob and Anna Gibbs. He moved with his family to Jane, Missouri in 1974 and was a 1981 graduate of McDonald County High School. On September 1, 1989, he was united in marriage to Rebecca "Becky" Holloway. Throughout his life he worked as a self-employed commercial roofer and farmer. He enjoyed being outdoors and loved life on the family farm. Zeke was a man of strong work ethic and a follower of Jesus Christ.

Zeke is survived by his wife of twenty-five years, Becky Gibbs of the home; two sons, Bryan Gibbs of Elm Mott, Texas and Zera Casey Gibbs of Bella Vista, Arkansas; his parents, Bob and Anna Gibbs of Jane, Missouri; two brothers, Jon Gibbs and Jeff Gibbs and wife, Tammy, all of Jane; a sister, Joanna Gibbs of Webb City, Missouri; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other family and friends.

Funeral services for Mr. Gibbs are 1:00 p.m. Monday, February 9, 2015, in the Anderson Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Homes with Pastor Jamey Cope officiating. Burial will follow in the Brush Creek Cemetery. Those honoring his life by serving as pallbearers are Drew Gibbs, Tyler Gibbs, Marty Clark, Randy Spears, David Holloway and Brice Holloway. Jon Gibbs, Jeff Gibbs and Danny Durham will be serving as honorary pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Sunday afternoon from 1-3:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Memorials are being directed to the Brush Creek Cemetery Care Fund and contributions may be left at the funeral home.
