Eddie was born Dec. 9, 1920, in Red Fork, Okla. He graduated from Polytechnic High School in 1937 and attended UTA and UCLA. Eddie worked for Douglas Aircraft as an air frame designer and a tool designer for Consolidated Aircraft. He was a naval pilot in World War II. He was a member of Fairpark Baptist Church and Edgecliff Village.
Survivors: Sons, Alan Hennington and Dale Hennington and wife, Tina; grandchildren, Angela Pekarek, Mike Hennington, Mark Hennington and Alaina Hennington; six great-grandchildren; and brother, Dr. Rex H. Hennington of Tyler.
