Carl, age 85, died at his home in Copan. He was the son of Leonard Jackson and Lucinda Ellen (Burkart) Baker. He married Wilma Colleen Dixon on August 15, 1945, in Caney. He is survived by his wife, one daughter, one brother, five grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Carl Marvin Baker Jr., his parents, one brother, and one sister. Funeral services were held at Copan First Baptist Church. Burial was in Dewey Cemetery.
