Rites Saturday for Mrs. Anderson
Mrs. Cora Anderson, 79, St. Petersburg, Fla., formerly of Jewell, died Feb. 25 in St. Petersburg.
Services are Friday at 2 p.m. from the Federated United Church of Christ, Jewell, with the Rev. Tom Rahling officiating. Burial i in Evergreen Cemetery, Jewell.
Mrs. Anderson was born Oct. 10, 1895 in Jewell. She and John Anderson were married Nov. 5, 1919 in Webster City. She was a member of the Federated United Church of Christ and the Order of the Eastern Star.
Surviving are her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Virgnia Gabrielson, St. Petersburg, Fla. and Mrs. Helen Oberender, Blairsburg; four grandchildren; a great grandchild; a sister, Mrs. Edith Overhulser, Jewell and a brother, Harry Harman, Jewell.
She was preceded in death by a brother and four sisters.
The Becker Funeral Home, Jewell is in charge of arrangements.
