Funeral services for Opal Hawk, 96, who died Friday at McCurtain Memorial Hospital, will be Monday at 10 AM at the First Presbyterian Church, Broken Bow.
The Rev. Marilyn Weathers will officiate, and burial will follow in Broken Bow Cemetery under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home, DeQueen Ark.
Hawk was born Jan 31, 1903, in Wickes Ark. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Broken Bow.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvie Douglas Hawk, on March 21, 1957.
Survivors include one son, Craig Hawk, of Sparta Tenn and one granddaughter.

Opal's 1st marriage was to Harry Gustavus "Guss" Riggs on 28 Nov 1920. They had a dtr, Genae (pronounced Gina) in 1924. She died in 1960 & is buried near her mother.
